5:34 Stumps in the first day of the game. The first session was dominated by Bangladesh, then the West Indies bowlers and batters took over from there. Bangladesh had a strong start to their innings but regularly lost wickets rather than forming partnerships. Crossing the 230 mark was made possible by a magnificent fifty by Litton and a late partnership from Ebadot and Shoriful. The pitch currently appears to be favorable for batting. West Indies got things going with a 4.18 run rate while being 167 runs behind. Tomorrow, skipper Brathwaite and his partner Campbell will try to continue their opening partnership. The Bangladeshi bowlers need to pull off something special tomorrow to get back into the game.
That’s all from the play today. Good night and take care. Signing off on behalf of Raghav, Chandan and myself..
