Netflix, Stranger Things and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra have been brought together to bring out an amazing short film.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, Samsung’s top line smartphone, has touted its night photography capabilities with a short film on YouTube that highlights its camera capabilities as well as promotes the popular Netflix series Stranger Things. The Samsung short film is inspired by the highly acclaimed Netflix web-series and it showcases Galaxy S22 Ultra’s Nightography capabilities. Samsung said in a statement, “Samsung Electronics today debuted Make STRANGER Nights Epic, a short film that leverages the advanced Nightography camera features of the Galaxy S22 Ultra to pay homage to the popular Netflix series Stranger Things. “
“In season four of Stranger Things, nighttime opens up a portal to an extraordinary world — and the S22 Ultra is used to recreate that distinct style and tell a cinematic story demonstrating how Galaxy technology has the power to capture what would otherwise go unseen in the dark,” Samsung said in a statement while releasing the short film.
The promo titled “Stranger Nights” shows a group of three kids riding on their bikes on their way to a viewing party to watch the latest season of Stranger Things. Well, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra becomes part of the promo while being in the pocket of one of the kids which records the monsters from the web-show including the famous Demogorgon. The promo tries to focus on the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra’s Nightography camera features, which include a 108MP main camera along with a 10 MP periscope telephoto, 10MP telephoto lens, and a 12 MP ultrawide.
This is not the first time Samsung and Netflix have forged a partnership. They have collaborated on Bespoke campaigns featuring several of the streaming platform’s most popular series. Back in January, they launched an integrated campaign to help the second season of Emily in Paris while featuring the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G. Samsung and Netflix also teamed up to create a Bridgerton short film for the unveiling of the Galaxy S22 series back in February, 2022. In a three-minute movie, innovators try to gain the attention of Bridgerton’s Queen Charlotte.
