Fabinho will be fit for the Champions League final, according to Jurgen Klopp.
The midfielder has been ruled out of the FA Cup final on Saturday with a hamstring injury. There were fears that he would not be available for the clash with Real Madrid on 28 May.
However, Liverpool manager Klopp has insisted the Brazilian will be back for the clash in Paris.
He said: “He will definitely be back for the Champions League final.”
Asked whether he would return in time for Liverpool’s other games in the run-in, Klopp added: “We will see. Fab is a professional. He wasn’t happy about it but he’s taken it. He’s absolutely OK.”
Liverpool are a point behind Manchester City at the top of the Premier League with two games left.
The German, however, is focusing on the FA Cup final against Chelsea. A victory there would be Liverpool’s second domestic trophy of the season. They won the Carabao Cup after beating Chelsea on penalties earlier this campaign.
Klopp continued: “I don’t think any of my players won the FA Cup before. I didn’t win it. Millie (James Milner) won it? The only one? So for the rest it would be the first time. The boys worked their socks off to arrive there. It is a massive final for us.”
