Lightning's Brayden Point returns for second period vs. Maple Leafs after fall

Tampa Bay Lightning forward Brayden Point returned in the second period of Game 7 against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday after he took a nasty fall late in the first. He took a shift but went back to the bench, still hurting after the fall.

As Point was retrieving the puck in the Toronto zone, his right leg collided with the boards, causing him to fall down. He hobbled off the ice to the dressing room and missed the rest of the first period.

The winner of Saturday’s game will face the Florida Panthers in the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
