Leeds pair Raphinha and Harrison fit for Brighton clash, Bamford still a doubt - Marsch

Raphinha and Jack Harrison will be available for Leeds’s crunch match against Brighton — but there are still doubts over Patrick Bamford’s fitness.

Harrison was taken off as a substitute during the first-half against Chelsea on Wednesday night. Raphinha also had to leave the pitch after picking up a knock as the game wore on.

However, Jesse Marsch is confident both will be involved at Elland Road. He said: “Harrison’s contusion looks positive. He’s training tomorrow and ready for Sunday. Rapha is fine.”

Marsch and Leeds go into Sunday’s game 18th in the Premier League. They would be all-but relegated if they lose against Brighton and Burnley get a result at Tottenham Hotspur in the game’s early kick-off.

There was hope Bamford would return in time for the match, but Marsch was more cautious about the striker. He continued: “Patrick’s (injury) is too early to tell. We’ll evaluate that in the next few days.”
